Introduction to Geopathic Stress (GS)

The word “Geopathic” originates from the word “geo” meaning Earth and “pathic” meaning detrimental to health. Geopathic stress is the natural energy which radiates from the Earth which is disturbed by the electromagnetic fields. Both natural and manmade, turning it into negative and toxic energy. This can be detrimental to our health and homes we live in.

How can GS affect us?

GS can affect us in many different ways. There has been numerous proven research carried out which shows GS to be a major factor in various long term illnesses and psychological conditions. By sleeping at cross points of GS over a long period of time can trigger the following:

Signs to look out for to Identify geopathic stress

Poor sleep, waking often or constantly feeling tired, restlessness.

A feeling of not wanting to stay or go in a particular room, as something just doesn’t feel quite right.

Increase in anxiety and negativity.
There are also visible signs you can look out for in and around your home which may indicate GS:

· Cracks on walls/floor

· Damp or a smell of moisture in the house or poor quality air inside.

· Plants in your garden/yard stunted or mutated growth, bare patches in lawn, gaps in hedges, mosses or fungi.

· However there are certain plants which thrive on these energies. Evergreen trees or plants, especially those pointed spikey leaves. Conifers/Pine trees and Holly growing quickly and well.

· Ants like to march across areas of GS

· Mosquitoes, bees and wasps are also attracted to these areas.

Pets

Dogs will try and avoid these areas in the home and will not sleep in areas of GS. They are attracted to and will choose to sleep on the positive energies in the house.
Cats are attracted to these areas and prefer to sleep here. Once the cat has had enough they will shake the excess energies off and lick themselves. This does not mean that cats are negative animals at all. They are considered to be transformers of the negatives energies transforming them into positive energy. This is most likely to be one of the reasons why the ancient Egyptians worshiped and respected cats.

Geopathic Stress Solutions at Home

There are many solutions to explore. The first and most practical solution is to reposition your furniture. If to be in a geopathic stress area, you need to reposition it. If this is not possible, or if the geopathic stress area is too big/covers most of your house, explore further solutions for geopathic stress.

Another popular method is placing certain crystals set with an intention, placed in specific areas around your home, where GS zones are identified.

A very simple method is to place copper, brass or steel rods (you can also use rings or wires) at specific points in the ground around your house, or in specific areas inside your home. The points where they need to be placed can be identified by dowsing.

In order to make these method work effectively, you have to know the direction of the flow of earth lines you need to block/neutralize, as well as the distance between them. Basically, when you place specific tools in specific areas of your home, you are creating a grid of safe energy.

With all these and other methods it is important that you know the exact locations, so it is strongly recommended to seek the advice of a dowser to identify these areas and provide you with the best solutions for your individual needs.

Scientific research into geopathic stress

In 1989 a two year study on human association with sites that have harmful earth energies was carried out in Austria by Professor Otto Bergsmann – a medical doctor at the University of Vienna. In that study 985 people were tested and over 6900 tests were carried out. The study produced a 158 page report that showed that there were changes in the serum values of Seratonin and the levels of Zinc and Calcium in the humans who had been exposed to these energies for a ten minute period. The research was done with the help of doctors, engineers and dowsers. The dowsers found the areas where the bad energies existed and the engineers ensured that these areas had no possible man made influences in them from electromagnetic waves or microwaves which might have influenced the test results and the human subjects.
Tests were also done in neutral zones in order to provide a standard by which to assess the effectiveness of the study. Only healthy people were selected for the tests and none of them were told about the different locations and whether they were in either neutral zones or were in zones with harmful energies. 24 different biological parameters were tested and it was clear that there was a statistical significance in the values of Seratonin alteration, blood corpuscle decline speed and immunoglobulin deficiencies in humans that had been exposed to the harmful energies.

Seratonin decreased by a factor of 6 in the subjects who were in these harmful energies. This decrease in Seratonin also affected Tryptophan levels. Tryptophan is an essential Amino acid that is needed to prevent illness and death. Immunoglobulin IgA showed the highest significant drop. Blood corpuscle decline speed slowed down.
The conclusion of the report was that, without doubt, spending time in a zone where there were harmful earth energies was contributing to a ‘Location Load Effect’ on the regulatory systems of the human organism and it was this that posed a risk to human health.
In 1985 Dr Veronika Carstens published a study that showed that there were at least 700 documented cases where terminal cancer patients had regained their health, without any conventional treatment, after their sleeping area had been moved away from a zone with harmful energies to one where there were none.
Polish Professor Tomas Janowski and Barbara Tombarkiewicz studied the health of 309 cows kept in stalls in a building where three of the stalls were affected by harmful earth energies. Cows that were kept in these three stalls suffered ill health problems over and above a normally expected figure. Hair and blood analysis showed lower amounts of trace elements. Their report concluded that the microelement disorders in the animals staying in these three stalls, was the primary cause of the many diseases. When the cows were moved away from these stalls their health improved. The report went on to say that ‘…the influence of a disturbed energy field on the living organism is slow and cumulative in time and can cause dysfunction of the organism, but after it stops the dysfunction can regress.’What is interesting to note is that the Cows have no conscious knowledge of these energies and if they were harmful or not and yet their health was still affected.Not having knowledge of these things is no defence against them as many humans are finding out.
The respected Austrian researcher Kathe Bachler surveyed over 3000 school children and showed 95% of children with learning difficulties, hyperactive tendencies or continuous bad behaviour, either slept or had their school desks (or both) in locations with marked GS. When she moved the children into stress-free places, they nearly all showed a marked improvement, often going from bottom to top of their class in one term. She concluded that GS affects a high proportion of children who continuously play truant or who are refused places in ordinary schools due to misbehaviour. Class teachers in schools suffering from GS have a high rate of absenteeism.

This does not mean that GS is the cause of these. It can however be a significant trigger which can lead to them. Especially to those exposed to strong GS over a long period of time with a weakened constitution, those who are sensitive to their surrounding or environment, especially children and the elderly. Kathe Bachler has written a book “Earth Radiation” which contains detailed records of harmful effects of GS on our health.
Dr Hans Nieper, a world renowned cancer and MS specialist from Germany. Reported that 92% of all his cancer patients and 75% of all his MS patients had some form of GS. This included sleeping in those areas. Cancer as a disease of ‘location’ is becoming more accepted in Germany and throughout Europe. Geobiologists there are often called in to advise on moving patients so their beds are in safer positions. The studies carried out by Physicist Robert Endros and Professor KE Lotz of the School of Architecture of Biberach in Germany. They analysed the deaths of 400 cancer victims, revealed that 383 of the cases were related to homes built over geological faults, underground water sources and disturbances to the natural electromagnetic fields (GS).
In 1977 Dr Michael Persinger and Gysliane Lafrenier scientifically demonstrated that geological anomalies, like fault lines can produce plasma. Plasma is the fourth state of matter after liquids, solids and gases. It’s atoms having divided into free-floating “negative” electrons and “positive ions” – An atom that has lost it’s electrons. At least 99% of the known universe including the sun is in fact matter in it’s plasma state. Plasma is a unique substance because it is electrically conductive and responds to magnetic fields. Gases under such huge subterranean pressures from the Earth’s crust or fault lines may evolve into plasma and move to the surface through fissures. Plasma emits strong magnetic fields that effect the human brain and can give a varying degree of psychological disturbances including hallucinatory or visionary experiences.
Dr. Paul G. Seeger, a former Chief of Cancer Research at Charite teaching hospital in Berlin said that ‘No serious-minded criticism, be it ever so prejudiced, can afford to ignore proofs of the existence of these harmful earth energies.’
